John T. Healey, of Middleton, formerly of Manchester, NH, died at the Beverly Hospital on Feb. 5, 2011 at the age of 60. John was born & raised in Melrose and was a graduate of the Newman School for Boys in Boston. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, enlisting at the age of 17 and served over 20 years of active service. John resided most of his life in Manchester, NH and enjoyed reading, football, working on computers and was always learning. He worked as an Aircraft Technician for Wiggins Airways in Manchester, NH. John was the husband of Micha Healey of Middleton. Loving father of Theresa A. Healey and Angela C. Healey, both of Middleton. Son of the late Charles & Rita (Dooley) Healey Jr. Brother of Thomas C. Healey of N. Reading, Jeffrey A. Healey of Boston and the late Marti E. Healey. Uncle of Jason Healey & his wife Elizabeth. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday Feb. 11th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 6-8PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John's name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
