Obituary

John W. Huber passed away at Sunrise at Gardner Park in Peabody, on Nov. 21st, at the age of 83. John was born and raised in Medford, graduated from Medford High School and has lived in Melrose for over 55 years. He worked as a clerk at the B&M Railroad in Boston for 30 years as well as a mechanic at the Sunoco Gas Station in Melrose for 30 years. John served in the US Army during WWII, was a member of the VFW Harold OYoung Post #2394 in Melrose and he was an avid fisherman. He and his wife Helen summered in Moltonborough NH for over 20 years. John was the husband of the late Helen L. (Heintz) Huber. Father of J. Randall Huber & his wife Dorothy of Melrose. Brother of Richard Huber & his wife Barbara of Somerville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St. Danvers 01923.
