John T. 'Jack' Lambert, 81, died at Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center, Medford wednesday after a brief illness. Born and raised in Boston, he graduated from Boston English High School class of 1938. Jack served in the Coast Guard during WW II. He was sales representative for Black & Decker Tool Co for a number of years in the Philadelphia area , moved back to Melrose to form his own company, Lambert & Associates, a hardware distribution company servicing large sales corporations. Jack had lived most of his life in Melrose where he was a parishioner of Incarnation Church and a member of the Tedesco Country Club in Marblehead. Jack was the beloved husband of the late Lucille F. ( Colbert ) Lambert. Son of the late James A. & Mary A. ( Lynch ) Lambert. Loving brother of Margaret M. Dwyer of Melrose. Brother-in-law of Anne Wentzell of NH. Uncle of Nancy Scharn, Marianne Dwyer, Susan Garrant, Robert Wentzell, Richard Wentzell, John Colbert, Michael Colbert, Paul Colbert, Margaret Tolaydo and Nancy Mutrie. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W Foster St., Melrose on Mon July 29 at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose at 11 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sun 4 - 8 PM. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
