John F. Macklin, of Melrose, died at the Golden Living Center in Melrose on March 1, 2010 at the age of 71. John was born in Worcester, raised in Malden and graduated from Reading High School and Merrimack College. He worked as a Draftsman for Teledyne Tac of Woburn for 8 years and Minuteman Transit of Norwood for over 10 years. John was the loving father of Lisa Macklin of N. Chelmsford and David Macklin of Woburn. Cherished son of the late Earl L. & Elizabeth M. (Quail) Macklin. Former husband of Beverly J. (Brewer) Macklin of Tuscan AZ. Caring brother in law of Dr. Lee Maynard of Woburn. A graveside service will be held at the Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St., Worcester on Friday, March 5th at 11AM.
