John J. Marshall passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, on January 2, 2007, he was 98. John was born in Melrose, raised in Melrose and was a lifelong resident. He worked as a printer for Gulf Oil of Boston for many years. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a recipient of the Bronze Star. John is survived by his wife of 65 years, Geraldine F. (Darrah) Marshall. Father of Carolyn Queenan & her husband Harold of Melrose. Grandfather of David R. Queenan & his wife Jeanette of Newton and Kristen E. Queenan of Melrose. Brother of the late Thomas Marshall. A memorial service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday, January 5th, at 2PM. Relatives & friends invited. Interment will be private.
