Joseph M. Foley passed away at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell on January 8th at the age of 68. He was born and raised in Boston, graduated from high school in Boston and Bentley College with a degree in accounting. Mr. Foley worked as an accountant for Blue Cross & Blue Shiled for over 25 years. Jospeh has lived in Melrose the past 30 years and was a member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth T. (Carpenter) Foley. Father of Joseph J. Foley & his wife Shelia Presley-Foley of Lawrence and Mary Beth Foley of Melrose. Brother of James Foley of Malden. Grandfather of Ashely Elizabeth Foley. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday Jan. 12th at 9AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6PM.
