Joseph G. Ledoux, of Melrose, died at his home on Oct. 28, 2005 at the age of 83. Joseph was an Electrical Supervisor for the B&M Railroad from 1946-1984. He was a Navy WWII Veteran and lived in Melrose for many years. Joe was a member of the Melrose High Band-Aiders for over 20 years and a member of Wheels retired Railroad Workers. He was also a member of St. Marys Church and the beloved husband of the late Mary T. (Edmands) Ledoux. Loving father of Arthur Ledoux & his wife Nancy of Newburyport, Christine Morin & her husband Louis (Jeano) of Salem, Denise Cranney & her husband Paul of Danvers, Thomas Ledoux & his wife Julie of Wilmington, Michelle Preston & her husband Kenneth of Methuen, Ray Ledoux of Tewksbury and the late Robert Ledoux. Caring brother of Claire Edmands & her late husband Francis of Peabody and the late Raymond Ledoux. Cherished grandfather of Renee, Mark, Paul, John, James, Nicole, Jacob and Abigail. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Monday Oct. 31st at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & Friends invited. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-6PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
