Joseph Ski Liskowsky Sr. passed away at Epoch Senior Healthcare in Melrose, on January 25th, at the age of 85. Ski was born and raised in Delano, PA and graduated from Delano High School. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the Ardennes, Central Europe and Rhineland from 1942 to 1945. Joseph worked as a certified mechanic for Melrose Pontiac for over 35 years, retiring in 1981. After his retirement, Ski worked part time for Daniels LeSaffre Motors in Melrose for a few years. Mr. Liskowsky lived in Malden for 35 years and Melrose for the past 25 years. Joseph is the husband of Shirley M. (Talieri) Liskowsky. Father of Susan M. Mooskian & her husband John of Saugus and Joseph Liskowsky Jr. & Bonnie McNaney of Derry NH. Brother of John Liskowsky of PA. Grandfather of Stephen Martineau & his wife Cindy, John Mooskian & his wife Janelle all of Saugus and Joseph P. Liskowsky of Melrose. Great grandfather of Amanda & Derek Martineau. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday Jan. 28th at 11AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours on Friday morning from 9:00-11:00AM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
