Joseph T. Joe Pagliarulo Sr., of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Feb. 24, 2006 at the age of 74. Joe was born in Boston, a graduate of Winthrop High School and served in the Marines during the Korean War. He worked as a manager for New England Telephone Company for 38 years and was a member of I.B.E.W. union. Joe has lived in Melrose since 1966 and was a member of Incarnation Church for the past 38 years. He was the beloved husband of Rose A. (Bramante) Pagliarulo for nearly 50 years. Loving father of Maria Winslow of Melrose, Joseph T. Pagliarulo Jr. & his wife Robin of Rowley, Carolann Connolly & her husband Mark of Reading and Gina Pagliarulo of Melrose. Cherished grandfather of Megan Winslow, Nicolas Pagliarulo and Ryan Connolly. Caring brother of Dr. Emil Paige & his wife Althea of Marblehead and Phyllis Chicarello & her husband Peter of Winthrop. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday March 2nd at 9AM. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
