Joseph L.Ripley of Melrose passed away July 23, 2005 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, he was 57. Born & raised in Somerville, he lived in Melrose since 1980. Joe worked as a shipper for Sears & Roebuck for many years. He was the loving husband of Tina (Conley) Ripley. Father of Michael Ripley of Lowell, Peter Ripley & his wife Salina of Medford, & Krista Ripley of Melrose also stepfather of Jason Grant of Nashua, NH. Cherished grandfather of Tyler, Richard, Alexis, Makenna, & Samantha. Brother of George Ripley of Lynnfield, Rosemary Cullinane of Tewksbury, & Robert Ripley of Chelsea. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thurs. July 28 at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church Herbert St. Melrose, at 10AM. Family & friends invited.
