Judith M. (Corkum) Carmody passed away at Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford, on November 29, 2007; she was 61 years of age. Judith was born and raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School. She was a resident of Saugus for 7 years; Topsfield for 23 years and has lived in Medford the past few years. Judith worked as a manager for Purity Supreme and Stop & Shop, mainly in the Danvers store, for 15 years. Mrs. Carmody was an avid Red Sox & Patriots fan, enjoyed reading, loved children and cookouts with her family. Judith did volunteer work in the Topsfield elementary schools for many years. Loving mother of Brian P. Carmody of Leominster, Kelly F. Carmody of Cambridge and Daniel J. Carmody & his wife Claudia of Somerville. Devoted sister of Shirley Carr of Medford, Robert Corkum of SC, Jackie Atkinson of Wilmington and the late Jean Overbeck. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held the Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, 302 Elm St. Everett, on Tuesday, December 4th, at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
