Judith (Judy) Pashoian, 55 years old, of Melrose MA passed away suddenly on Monday November 23, 2020. Judy was born in Putnam, CT on November 15, 1965 to Alice S. Johnson, nee Southwood, of Danielson, CT and the late Ransom M. Gascoigne II. Judy loved life. It wasn't where she was or what she was doing, but who she was with. Celebrating moments and people were her adventure and joy. She was always there with an open heart and helping hands without judgment or expectations. She lit up every room she walked into. She filled her children with encouragement, compassion and guidance. She cherished every moment with them. Her favorite times were spent with family and friends. Whether, preparing for a holiday, celebrating successes or milestones it was connecting with the family that she loved most. Making a meal and enjoying a glass of wine, followed by a night of cards and board games always topped the evening off. Many long summer weekends were shared with her Terrace Pines Lake friends and family in Ossipee, NH, where she enjoyed the beach and boating. Judy was selfless with everyone. Judy attended Pomfret Academy in Pomfret, CT and was a graduate of Eckard College in St. Petersburg, FL with a BA in Research Psychology. After college, she joined her sister in Boston MA and started her accounting career at Boston Tea Party Museum. Using her exemplary skills and with dedication she continued in various roles at Hilltop steak house, JW Capital Partners, Boston Private and most recently Cambridge Trust Company. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Mark G. Pashoian. She was a beloved and devoted mother to Samantha, Lily, and Luke Pashoian all of Melrose, MA and William Vessels & his wife Ally and their son Liam of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by her sisters Carol-Jane G. Albertelli & her husband Michael of Williston, VT, and Deborah W. Gascoigne of North Oxford, MA. Her numerous in-laws, nephews, nieces, Godsons, cousins, and friends to whom she gave unwavering and invaluable support to over the years and will miss her contagious smile, zest for life and unconditional love. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster Street, Melrose, MA, on Monday November 30th from 4:00 -7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 1st, at 10:00 AM at the Incarnation Catholic Church, 429 Upham St., Melrose, MA. Please go directly to the church. All attendees are required to wear face coverings. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Judith's name to the Melrose Relief Fund to help out Melrose residents in need.
