Julia J. (Domenico) Caruso, of Melrose, formerly of Malden & East Boston, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Dec. 26, 2004 at the age of 80. Julia was born & raised in East Boston and attended Practical Arts High School & East Boston High School. She was a homemaker who lived in Malden for over 20 years and Melrose the past 33 years. Julia was the beloved wife of Patrick G. Caruso for 54 years. Loving daughter of the late Thomas & Josephine Domenico. Devoted mother of Peter T. Caruso & his wife Joan of Revere and Patricia Caruso of Melrose. Cherished sister of Marie Tuzzalino & her late husband Salvatore of Revere, Florence Maresca & her late husband Louis of Boston, John T. Domenico & his wife Rosa of East Boston, Irene Clague & her husband Daniel of Brockton and the late Josephine Colombo & her husband Antonio of Dedham. Caring grandmother of Peter T. & David A. Caruso. Also survived by many nieces & nephews and grandnieces & grandnephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, on Thursday Dec. 30th at 12:00PM. Visiting hours prior to service from 10:00-12:00PM. Relatives & friends invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Julias name to the charity of your choice.
