June Ella (Wainwright) Ward, of Zellwood, Florida died at the Parish Medical Center in Titusville, Florida on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the age of 88. June was born and raised in Orange, New Jersey and then resided in Brookline, Massachusetts for over 20 years, West Roxbury for 10 years and the past 25 years in Zellwood, Florida. June worked as a Sales Clerk for Touraine Clothing Store in Brookline for many years. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Ward with whom they shared 51 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Margaret Buchanan & her husband Dave of Milton, NH, Joan Jones of FL, James Ward & his wife Marilyn of Melrose, Thomas Ward & his wife Suzanne of FL, Elizabeth Main & her husband Allan of Tewksbury, Mary Hannon & her husband John of Foxboro and Nancy Gaston & her husband Kenneth of North Attleboro. Predeceased by 3 brothers & 2 sisters. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday March 22nd at 8:45AM. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Incarnation 425 Upham St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-8PM. Burial in the Massachusetts Veteran's National Cemetery in Bourne.
