Karen M. (Carmody) Roberts of Stoneham, died peacefully surrounded by family on March 13, 2026, at the age of 71. She was the daughter of the belated Patrick and Helen (Barrett) Carmody. She was the beloved wife of Stephen Roberts of Stoneham. Loving mother of Jacqueline Roberts & her wife Kaitlyn and proud grandmother (Mimi) of Giovanna and Jeremiah, N. Smithfield, RI; Cherished sister of Kathleen O’Leary & her husband Gerard, Salem, NH; Gerald Carmody & his partner Laurie Johnstone, Melrose; Kevin Carmody & his wife Eileen, Wakefield; and Eileen Carmody, Stoneham. She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held inside the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 6:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
