Katherine E. Kate (Higgins) Henretta died at the North Memorial Hospital in Minnesota, on March 19, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer.She was 51 years of age. Kate was born in Somerville, raised in Stoneham, graduated from Stoneham High School with the Class of 1972. She lived in California for 5 years and the past 25 years in Eden Prairie, MN. Kate has worked for the Honeywell Corporation for the past 23 years, as an account representative and then as an Associate Market Manager for the residential combustion division. While working full time and raising her family, Katherine received her Associates Degree from the Metropolitan State University in Minnesota and was working towards her full degree the last two years. Kate loved the beach, traveling and summers in Kennebunk, Maine. She was the loving mother of Andrew R. & Matthew J. Henretta both of MN. Beloved daughter of John F. & Katherine E. (OBrien) Higgins of Stoneham. Devoted sister of John F. Higgins & his wife Kathleen of NC, Janet Restivo & her husband Jack of Melrose and Kimberly Fiske & her husband Neil of OH. Aunt of John, Mike & Jesse Restivo, Mac, Tate & Parker Fiske and Kimberly Higgins. Her funeral and interment took place in her hometown of Stoneham, MA on March 24th. A celebration of her life will be held at the Calhoun Beach Club 2925 Dean Parkway, Minneapoli on April 12th at 1:00 P.M. Burial was held in Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
