Kathleen A. Flynn, of Malden, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on August 19th at the age of 46. Kathleen was born & raised in Malden, attended Malden High School and was a lifelong Malden resident. She was the loving daughter of Peter & Mary (DeVanna) Thurlow of Malden. Devoted mother of John P. Shepard, Mary Flynn and Helena Spinney, all of Malden. Cherished companion of Raymond Spinney of Malden. Caring sister of Thomas Flynn, Matthew Thurlow, Mark Thurlow, Tina M. Hill and Donna MacKaskill. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden on Friday August 25th at 10AM. Relatives & Friends invited. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday from 6-8PM.
