Obituary

Kathleen F. "Kathy" (Kenerson) Gallucci, of Melrose, died at the Wilmington Health Center on Dec. 22, 2010 at the age of 66. Kathy was born & raised in Arlington and a graduate of Arlington High School. She went on to earn her nursing degree from the Melrose Wakefield Nursing School and worked as a nurse at the Mass. General Hospital & Symms Hospital in Arlington for several years. Kathy was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Ladies Sodality, the PTA and was a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed the beach, reading and had a special way of touching people and leaving her mark on them. Kathy was the beloved wife of Richard Gallucci for 46 years. Loving mother of Cynthia Brier & her husband John of CT, Sharon Mastrangelo & her husband Stephen of Hopkinton, Rick Gallucci of Concord, NH and Brian Gallucci & his wife Khadijah of Wilmington. Caring sister of James Kenerson & his wife Janice of Magnolia and the late Mary Ellen DelVecchio & her late husband William. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday Dec. 28th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kathy's name to Mass. General Hospital, Heart Failure Transplant Center, Attn: Dr. Marc Semigran, 55 fruit St., Gray Bigelow Bldg. Suite 800, Boston, MA 02114.
