Kathleen A. "Kay" (Chandler) Gill, of Melrose, died at the Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Methuen on Dec. 31, 2009 at the age of 79. Kay was born in Worcester, raised in Malden and a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1949. She was a homemaker, who resided in Melrose for over 40 years and was a member of the First Methodist Church in Melrose for many years. Kay's love was for her children, grandchildren and many good & dear friends. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Gill Sr. for 51 years. Loving mother of Kathleen F. Gunnery & her husband Daniel of Londonderry, NH, Charles E. Gill Jr. & his wife Barbara of Exeter, NH, John A. Gill & his wife Rossana of VA and Jean M. Golan & her husband David of Andover. Cherished grandmother of Kate, Audrey, Sarah, Caroline, Alex, Carly, Charlie, Christina and Jake. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday Jan. 5th at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. The Rev.
