Kathleen E. (Hunt) Neville, of Melrose, Massachusetts, died peacefully at home on January 17, 2026, after a long illness. Kathy was raised in Malden, Massachusetts, the youngest of ten children of the late John and Mary Hunt. She graduated from Malden High School in 1967. After attending the Wyndham Business School in Boston, Kathy worked as a legal secretary for many years at major law firms in Boston.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Edward J. Neville, III; by her son and daughter-in-law, Ruben and Nicole Colon; and by her daughter, Jennifer Bell. She is also survived by five grandchildren, including Amanda Bell, who lived with Kathy and Ed for many years, and also by her siblings John Hunt of Lisle, Illinois; Constance Nedohon of Green Bay, Wisconsin; and Terence Hunt of Yarmouth, MA. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Hunt, and by her siblings Mary McDermott, Nancy Cowperthwait, Robert Hunt, Judith Nelson, Susan Carroll, and Dorothy Behnke. She is also survived by her beloved rescue dogs, Casper and Archie.

Kathy and Ed were married in 1988, and they settled in Melrose shortly after marrying. Kathy loved being with her family, pampering her dogs, and taking vacation trips to Wells and Ogunquit in Maine.
