Kathryn M. (Manning) Connolly died after a long illness at Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Chatham May 30th at the age of 92. She was born in Boston, lived most of her life in Melrose and has been living on Cape Cod since 1969. Kathryn worked as a secretary for the Crosby Vale Co. in Mansfield for several years. She was the wife of the late Michael Connolly. Step mother of Anne M. Shannon of Orleans and Cathleen Connolly of Dorchester. Grandmother of Robert & Sarah Varney of Chatham and Brian Varney of RI. Also survived by many nieces and grand nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Sat. June 2nd at 11:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral mass on Sat. morning from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.
