Kim H. (Higgins) Gobbi passed away at the Beverly Hospital on December 10, 2015. She was only 61 years of age. Kim was born in Long Island, NY to the late John & Christine (Curran) Higgins. She was raised in Long Island and came to Boston for schooling. Kim graduated from Chamberlayne Fashion Design, lived in Malden, East Boston and Lynn for several years and the past 30 years in Lynnfield. Mrs. Gobbi worked as a sales manger in the wholesale shoe business at Pierre Shoe in Woburn for 25 years. Kim loved traveling with her husband Ed to Paris, Italy, Europe & Hawaii. She was an excellent cook, was a very creative person and enjoyed doing flower arrangements. Mrs. Gobbi was the beloved wife of 21 years to Edward J. Gobbi. Caring step-mother of Edward F. Gobbi & Laura M. Gobbi. Loving sister of Christine Biggers & her husband Doug of FL, Brianne Killion & her husband James of Norwood and Anita Frank & her husband Kenneth of NY. Devoted aunt of Kristen, James, Colin, Brian & Jacqueline. Also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews & friends. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 4:00-8:00PM. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 @ 8:45AM, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Of The Assumption Church, 758 Salem St. Lynnfield, at 10:00AM. Burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend.
