Laurina M. (Dorion) DiRusso passed away at home on September 29,2006, she was 42. Laurina was born in Boston, raised in Somerville and attended Somerville Schools. She lived in Somerville most of her life and recently moved to Melrose. Mrs. DiRusso worked for UPS as a driver out of the Somerville office for several years. She enjoyed the ocean, walking in the woods, road trips in her car and spending time with her best friend & husband Frank S. DiRusso. She was the daughter of the late James & Laura (Petraszunas) Dorion. Daughter-in-law of Eleanor DiRusso of Somerville. Friend of 30 years to Valerie & Lisa. Also survived by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Thursday, October 6th from 8:30 – 9:30AM. Followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to assist with funeral costs.
