Lawrence S. "Larry" Cincotta of Medford, died tragically, February17, 2010. He was only 60 years old. Born on October 19, 1949 in Malden, a son to the late Lawrence & Delia (Brescia) Cincotta, he was raised in Medford and a 1967 graduate of Medford High School. Mr. Cincotta worked for over 20 years at the Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford as a Network Support Technician with the Lockheed Martin Company. He enjoyed music, Country Line Dancing and donating his time at local nursing & soldier's homes. Mr. Cincotta was known as "MacGyver" because he could fix anything and was also a member of the Westside Social Club of Wakefield. He was the devoted husband of Julie A.(Bentley) Cincotta, stepfather of Jennifer P. DiPlatzi & her husband Michael of N. Reading & Ronald E. Dows, Jr. of NH. Step grandfather of Mikayla & Justin DiPlatzi. Caring brother of Adrienne G. Cincotta of Medford. Son of the late Lawrence & Delia (Brescia) Cincotta. Also survived by many loving cousins and long time friends. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday, February 23rd at 8AM. Funeral Mass in Larry's memory in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9AM. Family & friends respectfully invited.
