Lena (Cerniglia) DePatto, of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Oct. 31st, 2004 at the age of 88. Lena was born in Boston and attended the Washington School in the West End before moving to Revere. She was a Melrose resident for over 30 years & worked as a Hostess for Augustines Restaurant in Saugus for many years. Lena was the loving sister of Anthony Cerniglia & his wife Kay of Revere, Dominic Meli & his wife Lillian of Haverhill, and the late Dominic Cerniglia, Mary Centorino and Basil Meli. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday Nov. 3rd from 9-11AM. Immediately following visiting hours, a graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden at 11:30AM. Relatives & friends invited.
