Leo P. McCready died at Winchester Nursing Center on Saturday Nov. 2nd after a long illness at the age of 81. He was born and raised in Jamaica Plain and graduated from Boston College High School. Leo was a claims examiner for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in the Boston office for 49yrs. He has been a resident of Medford the past 54yrs, was a member of St. Eulalia Church in Winchester and he served in the Arny Air Corps during WWII. He was the husband of Terese R. (Kiely) McCready. Father of June McCready & her husband Mark Pearson of Melrose and Stephen McCready & his wife Deborah of Northboro. Brother of Jeanne MacEleney of Natick and Paul McCready of Boston. Grandfather of Leah, Jamie & Taylor Pearson, Kylie, Taryn & Shelby McCready. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tues.
