Leo "Chris" Turner, Jr. a lifelong resident of Melrose died on June 25, 2016 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital at the age of 69. Chris was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School. Mr. Turner worked for several years as an automotive mechanic in the area for many years. He is survived by his parents Leo and Margaret (Lux) Turner of Melrose and his siblings Katheen Devir, Michael Turner, Cindy Lux and Robin McDonald. Uncle Chris will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Chris also leaves behind his loving companion Kathleen Diorio and her family. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home on Saturday July 9, 2016 from 8:30-9:30AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation 425 Upham St. Melrose at 10AM. Burial will be private. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to your charity of choice.
