Lillian R. (Foggin) Denley passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital, on November 13, 2007; she was 79 years of age. Lillian was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School and has been a lifelong resident of Melrose. Mrs. Denley worked as a bookkeeper for Skane Steel Company, DeStefano & Canzano Law Firm in Boston and Mr. Tux for over 40 years. She loved to travel, shopping for nick knacks, going to the movies and spending time with her family. Lillian enjoyed feeding cats & birds, loved Christmas time and has been a longtime member of St. Marys Church in Melrose. Lillian was the wife of 60 years to John F. Jack Denley. Mother of Susan E. DeStefano of Westford & her late husband John, Brian W. Denley & his wife Susan of Melrose, Patricia A. Skane of Reading & her late husband Steven and John W. Denley & his wife Ann of Sterling. Grandmother of Jennifer, Matthew, Rebecca, Rachael, John Michael, Kelsey & Jack. Great grandmother of Ivy, Philip, Nicholas, Andrew, Brian & Joshua. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Saturday, Nov. 17th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8PM. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose
