Lillian (Banfield) Hynes, of Nashua, NH, formerly of Melrose, died at the Greenbriar Terrace Nursing Home on Sept. 22, 2006 at the age of 100. Lillian was born in Bay L'argent, Newfoundland, resided in Melrose for 40 years and the last 30 years in Nashua, NH. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo Hynes for 68 years. Loving mother of Al Hynes & his wife Barbara of Nashua and Patricia A. Chesnauskas & her husband Ralph of Yarmouthport and the late Leo Hynes & his wife Sandy. Former mother in law of Helen Hynes of Marblehead. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchild. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose on Tuesday Sept. 26th at 11AM. Relatives & friends invited. There is no visiting hours. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lillian's memory to Parkinson's Disease Assoc., 720 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02118.
