Linda L. (Scarpa) Karra passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital, on Nov. 21st, at the age of 58. Linda was born and raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1964. She lived in West Peabody for 12 years and Wakefield for the past 26 years. Linda worked as a claims adjuster for AIM Mutual Insurance Company in Burlington for 39 years.She was the wife of Karl A. Karra. Mother of Gina A. Karra of Wakefield. Sister of Judith Leonard of Bolton, Nicholas P. Scarpa of Tewksbury, Robert Scarpa of W. Peabody, Michael Scarpa of Ipswich, Christine Cavanna of Northboro and Daniel Scarpa of Middleton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wed. Nov. 24th at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tues. 4-8PM.
