Lisa M. Pollard, of Melrose, passed away on Feb. 17, 2018 at the age of 31. Lisa was born & raised in Melrose and a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 2004. She went on to graduate from the Bryman Institute and worked as a Medical Assistant. Lisa cared about everyone else, was a very compassionate, adventurous, funny, had a "Big Heart" and was a "Goof Ball". She was very family oriented and enjoyed posting funny videos, cooking, Disney movies and Revere & Hampton Beach. Lisa loved to spend her time with her fiancé' Jason and daughter Ariella going to fairs, bike shows and being in the outdoors. Lisa's family and many friends were the most important part of her life and she will be greatly missed. Lisa was the loving fiancé of Jason K. Mistretta & devoted mother of Ariella C. Pollard. Loving daughter of Robert T. & Donna C. (Curley) Pollard. Caring sister of Michael Curley & his fiancée Allison of Westborough, Christine "Teeny Bop" Pollard & her fiancé Mike Mahoney of Pelham, NH, Thomas Pollard & his girlfriend Catherine Bridgeford of Melrose and Harry Pollard of Melrose. Cherished granddaughter of Pauline Curley and the late James Curley of Hampton, NH & Muriel & Bill Pollard of England. Niece of Mark "Uncle Buck" O'Neill of Roslindale. Also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins & many friends. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday, Feb. 22nd from 4-8PM. Procession from the Gately Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 23rd at 8:45AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St., Mary's Church, 9 Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in check form made payable to Ariella Pollard c/o Eastern Bank, 605 Broadway, Saugus, MA 01906 to be put towards her savings account. Money can all be deposited into her account at any Eastern Bank by providing her name to the teller. Or cash can be given to the immediate family and Jason Mistretta and will be put into the account.
