Lois M. Shiebler died on March 5th at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua NH at the age of 77. She was born in Malden MA, raised in Medford MA, graduated from Medford High Class of 1943 and Massachusetts Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Boston in 1949. Lois graduated from the Mercy Hospital School of Anesthesia in 1955 as a certified registered nurse anesthetist. She worked for St. Vincent Hospital in Jacksonville Florida for 7yrs and Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City for 24yrs. Lois was a WWII Navy Veteran and has been living in Nashua NH for many years. She was a member of Mass. Memorial Hospital Nurses Alumni Assoc., American Assoc. of Nurse Anesthetists and Women in Military Service for American Memorial Foundation Inc. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose. She was the daughter of the late Frank J. & Margaret I (Lofgren) Shiebler. Sister of Barbara Shiebler Harrington of Cape Cod and the late Doris Swindlehurst & Frank J. Shiebler. Good friend of Barbara O'Connell of Nashua NH. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Sat. March 9th at 11:30AM. Funeral mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St. Wakefield at 12 Noon.
