Lorelei F. (Pecci) Cronin died at Winchester Hospital on January 10th at the age of 61. She was born and raised in Bath Maine, graduated from Bath High School and graduated from Atlantic Union College in Lancaster MA with a degree in nursing. Lorelei worked as a registered nurse in the ER and as an IV nurse for 37years. She worked at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, Winthrop Hospital and most of her career at the New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham. She has been living in Melrose the past 25 years, was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Infusion Nurses Society. Lorelei was the wife of George F. Cronin. Daughter of Fred Pecci of Bath ME and the late Eva (Grindle) Pecci. Mother of Stephen M. Cronin of PA, Catherine M. Cronin, Timothy F. Cronin both of Melrose, Daniel J. Cronin, Dennis J. Cronin & his wife Michelle all of Wareham, Mary Elizabeth Nave & her husband Michael of FL, Joseph P. Cronin & his wife Christine of Melrose. Sister of Janice Lease & her husband Robert of NV, Jeanne Lermond & her husband Robert, Leilani Ganter & her husband Kurt, Cheryl Yeaton & her husband Herbie, Gayla Teaque & her husband Tim all of Maine. Beloved friend of Carol & Cheri Daniels of Malden. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous neices and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday Jan. 13th at 8 AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 PM.
