Lorraine M. (Haskell) Fitzgerald, of Melrose, died at the Life Care Center in Stoneham on July 1, 2017 at the age of 98. Lorraine was born in Boston and raised in Allston. She resided in Milton for several years and Melrose for many years. Lorraine enjoyed playing bingo, crossword puzzles and knitting & crocheting. She worked as a Waitress for the Red Coach Grill for many years and as a Proof Reader for American Mutual Insurance Company. Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Fitzgerald. Loving mother of the late Roberta L. (Fitzgerald) Camara. Cherished grandmother of Laurie L. Zorba & her boyfriend James Kelly of N. Billerica and Christine A. DeCarolis & her husband James of NH. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday, July 8th from 9-10AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boston.
