Lydia A. Pullo of Melrose, passed away at the Wingate Nursing Home of Reading, Jan. 14th, 2006, she was 96 years old. Born in Revere to the late Ralph & Ersilia (Barone) Pullo, she moved to Melrose at 18 & graduated from Melrose High School, class of 1928. Lydia owned & operated the Franklin St. Beauty Salon on Franklin St., Boston for 20 years before moving the salon to her home on Franklin St. in Melrose, where she cut hair for over 40 years. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church of Wakefield for over 45 years. Caring sister of Elsie Kinney of Melrose, and the late Ralph & Guido Pullo. Loving aunt of Lydia Bourque of Melrose, Peter Kinney of Lawrence, Ralph Pullo, Jr. & Dianne Pullo, both of Stoneham. Also survived by numerous grand nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, Wed. Jan. 18th at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St., Wakefield, MA at 11 AM.
