Magnolia D. (Zacca) Sayegh of Melrose passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at the EPOCH Senior Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center of Melrose. She was 90 years old. Born in Lebanon on June 28, 1916 to the late Younis & Malake (Ata) Zacca, Magnolia came to the United States in May of 1985. She was a Melrose resident and a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Melrose. Mrs. Sayegh was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and was involved with the Red Cross of Lebanon. She was the past president of the Christian Orthodox Womens Organization of Port Said, Egypt. Magnolia was very involved in charitable organizations, the Lebanon Baptist Church of Beirut & the 1st Baptist Church of Melrose. She was the wife of the late Dimitri G. Sayegh. Loving mother of Samy D. Sayegh of Lebanon, Samir D. Sayegh & his wife Eileen of Melrose & Queeny A. Khoury & her husband Amine of Lebanon. Grandmother of Fionna P & Tara M. Sayegh & Michael A. & Joelle A. Khoury. Great grandmother of Chantal Sayegh. Funeral service in the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Fri. March 9th at 11AM. Family & friends invited.
