Maia P. (Trifonova) Glynn passed away at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the age of 51. Maia was born in Bulgaria on April 28, 1959, was raised in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and came to the United States in 1997. She lived in Malden from 1998 to 2002 and has been a Melrose resident for the past 8 years. Mrs. Glynn was a loving wife, mother and homemaker who cherished the time spent with her daughter Victoria and her family. Maia was a talented cook, enjoyed walking, flowers, tending to her garden & tomato plants and loved her trips to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. Maia was the beloved wife of Thomas M. Glynn. Devoted mother of Victoria N. Glynn. Cherished daughter of Pencho & Luchia Trifonovi. Loving sister of Aneta P. Semerdzhieva. Also survived by three nephews and one niece. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Monday, May 3rd at 11AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Monday morning from 9:00-11:00AM. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
