Margaret E. (McDonough) Cronin passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, on March 22, 2006, she was 85. Margaret was born and raised in Woburn and graduated from Woburn High School. Mrs. Cronin was an administrative assistant & office manager for the Anchor Packing Company of Boston for over 35 years. Margaret was a resident of Melrose for over 50 years; she enjoyed summering at Hampton Beach, NH, and was a member of St. Marys Church in Melrose. Mrs. Cronin loved traveling to Foxwoods and was an avid reader. She was the wife of the late Cyril M. Bud Cronin. Sister of the late Mary Crudden, Joseph, Patrick & Agnes McDonough. Aunt of Mary R. Crudden of Woburn & Elaine F. Parker of Londonderry, NH. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Monday March 27th, at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5PM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery in Woburn.
