Gover, Margaret J. "Peggy" (Roberts), suddenly of Malden, January 23, 2009. Margaret J. "Peggy" (Roberts) Gover passed away suddenly at her home in Malden, on Friday January 23, 2009. She was 62 years old. Peggy was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from St. Mary's Grammar School and attended Melrose High School. She has been a resident of Malden for the past 34 years. Mrs. Gover was first and foremost a loving mother who cherished the times spent with her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters. Peggy enjoyed going to the beach and looked forward to her yearly summer vacation in Marshfield. She was a member of the Revere Elks where she did volunteer work and she participated in the Alzheimer's Walk for several years. Wife of the late Michael E. Gover. Loving mother of Kimberly A. Mackey & John Rogers of Gloucester, Stephanie L. Gover of Malden, Kevin M. Gover & Christine Rinaldi of Malden and Peggy Canning & her husband Paul of Peabody. Devoted grandmother of Amanda, Brianne, Paul, & Brooke and great grandmother to Karlee & Amber. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas W. Sr. & Margaret (Carroll) Roberts. Cherished sister of Karen Roberts & Mary Kelley both of Melrose and the late Charles F., Gerald E., Claire M. & Thomas W. Roberts Jr. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Wed. Jan. 28th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 770 Salem St. Malden, at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited.
