Margaret M. (Feeney) Kelley passed away at the Burlington Health & Rehab Center in Burlington, on January 17, 2013 at the age of 88. She was born in Portland, Maine, was raised in Maine and came to Massachusetts at the age of 32. Margaret lived in Malden for 4 years, Melrose for over 45 years and the past 3 years at the Lodges at Shelburne Bay in Shelburne, VT, near her daughter Janet. Mrs. Kelley worked as an operator then as a supervisor at New England Telephone Company for 42 years, was a member of the IEBW telephone workers union and a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers. She was also a member of the Daughters of Esabelle Club in Portland Maine. Mrs. Kelley enjoyed walking and bowling, was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose and cherished the times spent with her grandchildren. Margaret was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late William W. Kelley. Loving mother of Janet A. Boyden & her late husband Michael of VT., Robert W. Kelley & his wife Linda of FL and Eileen M. Paquin & her husband William of Dracut. Devoted grandmother of Michael W., Stephen J. & Kelley B. Boyden, William R. Paquin, Michael Kelley as well as Frankie, Michael & Cheri. Great Grandmother of Evelyn Boyden. Also survived by several nieces. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tuesday morning from 8:30-10:30AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose at 11AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
