Born on January 24, 1932, in Melrose, Massachusetts, Peg lived a life marked by dedication, faith, and an enduring commitment to family and community.
A graduate of St. Mary's, where she served as class president in 1950, Peg was known for her leadership qualities from a young age. She went on to build a career as an operator with the AT&T telephone company, demonstrating the same diligence and care that defined every aspect of her life.
Peg was a woman of deep faith and active spirit, a characteristic reflected in her many years of volunteering at St. Mary's Church. She was a familiar and cherished presence within the congregation, offering her time and energy generously. Staying active was central to her life; she enjoyed walking regularly and took pleasure in social activities such as playing cards and listening to music with her many friends at the Fuller House.
Family was the cornerstone of her happiness, and nowhere was this more evident than in her immense love for her grandchildren, with whom she cherished spending time. Her joyful nature and warmth touched many, leaving lasting memories for all who knew her.
Peg was preceded in death by her parents, James Turner and Annie (Brennan) Turner; her husband, William Kelly; her daughter, Michelle Kelly; and her siblings Helen Turner, Mary Ardagna, Anne Malenchini, and John Turner. She is survived by her children, James Kelly and his longtime girlfriend Laurie Zorba, and Patricia McKenzie; her sister-in-law, Peggy Turner; many grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
