Margaret T. (Moakley) Salviati- Mogardo passed away at the Kindred Hospital in Peabody, December 7, 2006, of complications from surgery. She was 72 years of age. Margaret was born in Lexington, raised in Lexington and graduated from Lexington high School. She lived in Billerica until 1955, Melrose for 45 years and the past 6 years in Peabody. She was a homemaker and worked as a waitress for Valleys Restaurant, the Four Seasons Restaurant, the Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus for 12 years and then as a cashier at DAngleos in Woburn for 10 years. Margaret was an accomplished seamstress and loved to sew clothes for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed yard sales, crafts, gardening and going to bingo. She was the beloved wife of Richard L. Mogardo. Devoted mother of Deborah McIntyre & her husband Ken of Bourne, John Salviati & his wife Jody of W. Virginia, Laura Lincoln & her husband David of NH, Robert Salviati of Dracut, Donna Salviati of NH, Thomas Salviati & his wife Heidi of Attleboro, Paul Salviati & his wife Lisa & Wayne Wilson all of Melrose. Loving step-mother of Donna Mogardo & her husband Jay Rieter of NH. Loving sister of Miriam McGinley of Tewksbury, Mary Jane Morgan of OK & Rena Klynen of Tewksbury, Robert of NH, James of FL, William of Wilmington, Frederick of NH and the late Patrick, Joseph & Julia Moakley. Cherished grandmother of Jayme, Joelle, Christina, Christopher, Lauren, Eliza, Rebecca, Julia, Caleigh, R.J., Sophia, Nicholas, Isabella and Anthony. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Tues. Dec. 12th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield, at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8PM. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery in N. Tewksbury.
