Margaret M. Ritchie, 72, died at Winchester Hospital friday night after a brief illness. Born and raised in Melrose, she was a lifelong resident. She was a cake decorator at Sugar & Spice Bakery in Melrose for over 20 years and retired in the early 1980's. Margaret was a parishoner of St Mary's Church. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Ritchie. Mother of Dorothy A. Cammarata of Melrose, Peter D. Ritchie of Malden, Mary Ellen Ritchieof Melrose and Christopher J. Ritchie of Lynn. Brother of the late Richard Grant. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W Foster St Melrose on Wednesday Feb 6 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts, Melrose at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tues 7 - 9 - PM. Burial will be in St Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
