Margaret M. ''Peggy'' ( Doyle ) Roberts, 57, died at home Sunday after a lengthy illness. A lifelong resident of Melrose, Peggy graduated from St Mary's High School in 1962, Salem State College in 1966 with her Bachelor's Degree and in 1970 with her Master's Degree. She was a member of the Salem State Alumni Association and St Mary's Church. She was a School Teacher at the Centre Elementary School in Lynnfield from 1966 until 1971. Peggy was the wife of John F. Roberts. Mother of Kathryn M. Roberts of Melrose, John W. Roberts & his wife Marybeth of Chicago, IL and David H. Roberts of Melrose. Daughter of Helen M. ( Butler ) Doyle of Melrose and the late Henry F. Doyle. Sister of Henry P.Doyle of Melrose. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W Foster St Melrose on Wednesday Nov 14 at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts., Melrose at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery.
