Margaret E. Peg (Keefe) Tremblay, of Melrose, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004. Peg was born in Cambridge on Sept. 7, 1920, the daughter of Edward Keefe & Rose McCluskey. She married Leonard A. Tremblay of Cambridge on New Years Eve, Dec. 31, 1947. Len & Peg moved to Melrose in 1956 and were married 50 years before his death in 1997. Peg worked at United Carr Fastener Company in Cambridge, and also worked for many years at Jordan Marsh in Malden. She enjoyed the company of her family, friends and neighbors and was an avid card player & candlepin bowler. Peg is also survived by her son Leonard A. Tremblay Jr. & his wife Debra of North Reading. Cherished grandmother of Christopher J. Tremblay & his wife Erin of Assonet, Bryan A. Tremblay & his fiancee Melissa Cottreau of Groveland and Jillian M. Tremblay of North Reading. Caring sister of the late Edmund & James Keefe. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thurs. Sept 9th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, corner of Myrtle & Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & Friends invited. Visiting hours on Wed. Sept 8th from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
