Margharita M. (Cain) Allison, of Quincy, formerly of Melrose, died on August 23, 2005 at the Quincy Medical Center at the age of 83. Margharita was born & raised in Melrose and was a graduate of St. Marys High School Class of 1939. She went on to receive her degree from Bentley School of Accounting and worked as an Accountant for the Cole, Frago & Co. of Hartford, CT for more than 30 years until her retirement in 1990. Margharita had a love for cooking, religion and her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald E. Allison Sr. Loving mother of Roberta L. Allison of Quincy, Donald E. Allison Jr. of Weymouth, Richard K. Allison & his wife Rosemary of Haddam, CT and the late Dayle L. Allison. Cherished grandmother of Kyle & Kevin Allison, both of CT. Caring sister of the late Robert & Frank Cain. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday August 26th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 5-8PM. Burial will be private.
