Marguerite M. (Donahue) Greene died at home on Thursday Feb. 27th at the age of 84. Marguerite was born and raised in Melrose, Graduated from Melrose High School and was a lifelong resident. She owned and operated Marguerite Greene Realty in Melrose for 25years, and was a member of the Middlesex Board of Realtors. Marguerite was a member of the Ladies Sodality at St. Mary's Church in Melrose and a member of Incarnation Church since it's inception in 1958. She was the Wife of Leo F. Greene of Melrose, Mother of Mary L. Toomey and her husband Albert of Melrose, Elizabeth M. Mainero and her husband Alfred of Saugus, Leo F. Greene III and his wife Barbara of Melrose. Sister of the late Helena J. Warner and Evelyn R. Flynn and sister in law of the late Elizabeth M. Connolly. Grandmother of Angela Vitale, Sean Toomey, James Sullivan, Leo Paul Greene and Carole Greene all of Melrose and Great Grandmother of Quinn Beckles. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday March 3rd at 9AM. Funeral mass at Incarnation Church 425 Upham St. at 10am. Relatives and friends invited.
