Marie M. (Mascari) Carrigan, a former resident of the West End Boston, passed away at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on March 9th at the age of 80. She was born in Boston, educated at St. Joseph's Parochial School in Boston and St. Mary's of the Assumption in Cambridge. She also attended Boston Clerical and Stratford Business School in Boston. Marie was member of St. Joseph's Junior Women's Club and was a two term President of the Boston Chapter of the National Association of Railway Business Women. Mrs. Carrigan was employed by the Railway Express Agency Boston for 30 years (1942-1972) and prior to her retirement in 1993 was employed at a Lexington Nursing Home for 21 years. She was the wife of the late James Carrigan. Daughter of the late Leonard & Helen (Feeney) Mascari. Sister of the late Louise M. Oddo. Aunt of Karen L. Oddo of NV and Edward S. Oddo, his wife Marguerite and their daughter Jacqueline of Lynnfield. Funeral services and interment will be private.
