Marie E. (Luongo) Ceddia died at the Lifecare Center in Stoneham April 11th at the age of 82. Marie was born and raised in Boston, graduated from Girls High & Latin and attended Boston University. She was a homemaker and had worked at Sears & Roebuck before she was married. Marie lived in Medford for 23 years and Melrose since 1972. She was the devoted wife of the late Antonio J. Ceddia Jr.. Beloved mother of Maria R. Ceddia of Melrose, Dr. Anthony F. Ceddia & his wife Valerie of PA, Nancy A. Solano & her husband Kenneth of Melrose and the late Francis G. Ceddia. Loving sister of Jean Luongo of Wilmington. Beloved grandmother of Ann-Marie Lanius of VA, Dr. Michael A. Ceddia of Ohio, Kenneth C. Solano Jr. of N. Reading and Nicole M. Solano of Melrose. Great grandmother of Jack & Morgan Lanius and Mark Ceddia. Also survived by her devoted pet Nikki. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tues. April 15th at 9AM. Funeral mass in The Church of the Incarnation 425 Upham St. Melrose at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8PM. Internment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
