Marie E. (Bissell) Dooley Liebke died at Hearthstone Choate Hospital in Woburn March 26th at the age of 81. Marie was born and raised in Melrose, Graduated from Melrose High Class of 1936 and Emmanuel College Class of 1940. She worked at Melrose Wakefield Hospital as a Lab Technician for over 40yrs and most of those years as head of the department. Marie lived most of her life in Melrose and 15yrs in Reading. She was also a lifelong member of St. Mary's Church. She was the wife of the late George Liebke and the late William J. Dooley Jr.. Mother of Linda M. Kelley & her husband Richard of Malden, William J. Dooley III & his wife Roberta of Tewksbury and George D. Dooley & his wife Annette of CT. Surrogate Mother of Patricia Durdle of Malden. Sister of Adele Grady of Wakefield, Nancy Hall of RI and the late Dr. George Bissell and Dr. Joseph Bissell. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wed. March 28th at 9AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited.
